A multi-disciplinary performance, that re-contextualizes the class conflicts of the 18th century foreign-born French queen Marie Antoinette. In this short performance, a mid 20th century bourgeoisie leisure-class ‘queen’ is waited on by a bevy of servant-waitresses, whose loyalty she assumes, even as she mercilessly scolds and scorns them. Yet it is they who –suddenly and unexpectedly- turn on her in violence.
